Walk down the supplement aisle or scroll through enough pre-workout listings and you'll notice a pattern: a long list of impressive-sounding ingredients followed by one combined number in milligrams, with no breakdown of how much of each ingredient is actually in there. That's a proprietary blend, and it's one of the oldest tricks in the industry. We don't use them, and we never have.

The appeal of a proprietary blend is obvious if you're the one selling it. You get to list a dozen exciting ingredient names on the front of the label without disclosing how much of the cheap ones you've used to pad it out and how little of the expensive, actually effective ones made the cut. It looks impressive on the shelf. It just doesn't tell you anything useful about whether the product will actually do what it claims.

Our approach is the opposite of that on purpose. Take our Pre-Workout Powder as an example. The label tells you it's got 200mg of caffeine per 10g scoop, up to 400mg in a full 20g serve, 1500mg of beta-alanine, 1000mg of AAKG, and 300mg of N-Acetyl-Tyrosine, on top of creatine monohydrate and vitamin C, B5 and B12. Every number is there because doses matter. Beta-alanine only does much at meaningful gram-level amounts, not a token pinch, and the same logic applies to creatine, citrulline, and pretty much every active ingredient we sell on its own, like AAKG, L-Citrulline Malate and Beta Alanine as standalone powders.

Full dosing transparency also means you can actually stack products sensibly. If you're taking our Pre-Workout Powder and also want extra Beta Alanine or Creatine Monohydrate on top, you need to know exactly what's already in the pre-workout to avoid just guessing at your daily totals. Proprietary blends make that kind of planning impossible, because you're working from a mystery number instead of a real one.

We'll admit that transparent labelling isn't always the flashiest approach from a marketing standpoint. A straightforward dose list doesn't sound as exciting as a blend with a trademarked name and twelve ingredients crammed into one line. But we'd rather earn trust with a label you can actually read and understand than win a moment of attention with one you can't.

At the end of the day, you're the one training with this stuff and putting it in your body session after session. You should be able to look at any product we sell, whether it's our BCAAs, our EAAs, or our Pre-Workout, and know precisely what you're getting and how much of it. That's not a bonus feature for us, it's the baseline we build everything around.
