What it is
Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that your body makes naturally and is also present in some foods. In the body it combines with histidine to form carnosine, which plays a role in buffering during high-intensity exercise.
Why people use it
Beta-alanine is widely used by athletes and trainers for sprint, strength and interval work, and it’s also used across longer training formats. It’s an easy way to support your daily training routine.
Good to know
Some people notice a temporary skin-tingling sensation (paresthesia) when they first start taking beta-alanine. This is a recognised, short-lived effect.

Add 2g of Beta-Alanine powder to a shaker or glass filled with 200-300ml of cold water or juice, and mix it up. We recommend to take it 30 minutes before exercise. Do not consume more than 5g per day.
