AAKG is actually two different compounds bonded together. The salt of an arginine molecule is bonded alpha-ketoglutarate, a precursor to the amino acid l-glutamine. The amino acid l-arginine is found naturally in foods like cottage cheese, oatmeal, beef and chicken. Arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide production and vasodilation.
It's commonly found in most NO products to aid workout performance.
AAKG is thought to offer better absorption than regular l-arginine, thereby offering enhanced NO production. Essentially, AAKG offers all the support of arginine in a form designed to absorb quickly and efficiently.

Add 3g of AAKG with cold water or juice and take 1- 2 times daily. For maximum nitric oxide effect, AAKG is best taken directly before training.
