Training apparel gets put through more than everyday clothing — sweat, repeated washing and constant movement all take a toll, so fit and fabric matter more than they might for a casual tee. A good training top should allow a full range of motion at the shoulders (important for pressing and overhead work), sit close enough not to catch on equipment, and use a breathable fabric that dries quickly between sets.

For care, training gear generally lasts longer with a cold wash and air drying rather than high heat, which can break down performance fabrics and elastane over time. Washing after every session (rather than trying to get a second wear out of a sweaty top) also helps the fabric hold its shape.

See our current Men's Training Shirt, Women's Training T-Shirt and Men's Training Gym Tee listings for sizing and fabric details.
