Description

Pure Product Australia Egg White Protein Powder is a clean, high-protein ingredient made from 100% fresh pasteurised, spray-dried egg whites, with no added sugar, fat or cholesterol.

To reconstitute 1 kg of liquid egg white, add one part powder (125 g) to seven parts water (875 g).

Egg whites have been valued for centuries for their clean, high protein content. Made from quality farm-fresh eggs, this powder provides essential amino acids without any sugar, fat or cholesterol, and can be used in any recipe that calls for egg whites.

It has the same nutritional value as fresh egg whites but in a more convenient powder form and with a longer shelf life. Once rehydrated, it shares the same texture, taste and properties as liquid egg whites. It also suits vegetarians and anyone wanting a lean, dairy-free source of protein for the kitchen.

  2. Gently fold in 250 g Greek yoghurt, 10% fat. You can also use sour cream, 27% fat, or cream cheese, 30% fat. Choose the one you like best. Mix until fully combined. Add a pinch of salt for balance.

2 Protein Soufflés

Only 90 calories each and 11 g protein!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons, 20 g, Egg White Powder
  • 3 tablespoons warm water
Mix with the egg white powder.
  • 1 small Strauss chocolate dessert, 58 calories
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate instant pudding powder, 20 g
    Adds calories from sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon zero-sugar maple syrup, 10 g
  • 2 level tablespoons plain white flour, 15 g
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • A few drops vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C on bake mode.

Lightly warm the chocolate dessert in the microwave for about 30 seconds, just until it becomes softer and easier to mix. Add the chocolate instant pudding, sugar substitute, vanilla essence and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, mix the egg white powder with 3 tablespoons of warm water until smooth and combined. Do not worry if there are a few lumps at the start. Keep mixing and it will come together.

Combine the two bowls and mix. Only at the end, add the 2 tablespoons of flour and the baking powder. After adding the flour, do not overmix.

Take two oven-safe cups or ramekins, spray them with oil spray, and divide the mixture evenly between them.

Bake for about 20 minutes, until the soufflés are risen and set.

At the end of baking, slightly open the oven door to create a small gap and leave the soufflés inside for up to 5 minutes. This helps balance the temperature and keeps them from collapsing too quickly.

Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar, or add another half chocolate dessert on top if desired.

Ingredients for each soufflé: 90 calories with 11 g protein!
