Made with Kosher Ingredients: What It Means for Our Range

A number of our core products are made with Kosher ingredients. It's a detail some customers actively look for, and others have never had explained properly. Made with Kosher ingredients means the raw ingredients we use in these products are sourced as Kosher, meeting Kosher dietary requirements at the ingredient level.

For a dairy-based product like whey protein, this matters more than people sometimes realise. Whey, casein and other milk-derived proteins come from dairy processing, so where those ingredients come from is an important part of the picture. Several of our whey-based products are made with Kosher ingredients, which gives customers following Kosher dietary practices useful information about what goes into them.

It's a similar story for our amino acids and other single-ingredient powders, like Creatine Monohydrate, BCAAs and L-Glutamine. Because these have simpler formulations than a flavoured protein blend, there are fewer ingredients involved, and each one is sourced as a Kosher ingredient.

One thing worth being clear about is that Kosher ingredients and lab testing are two separate things, even though both speak to quality. Independent lab testing checks things like purity and label accuracy, confirming a product contains what it says it does. Kosher ingredients relate to dietary and religious requirements. A product can have one, the other, or both, so it's worth checking the specific product page rather than assuming every item in the range is the same.

It's also important to know that "made with Kosher ingredients" is not the same as a finished product being Kosher certified. Our products are made with Kosher ingredients; the finished products themselves do not carry Kosher certification. If you need a certified product for strict religious observance, please take that into account before you buy.

If Kosher status matters to your household or your training clients, the simplest approach is to check the product listing or FAQ for that item, or email us at orders@pure-product.com and we'll confirm the details for you. We'd rather you check and know for certain than assume.
