Description
L-Citrulline is a compound consisting of Citrulline, a nonessential amino acid that is primarily found in watermelon, and Malate, an apple derivative.
Research has shown that supplementation of Citrulline raises Arginine levels more effectively than taking the same dose of straight Arginine.
L-Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that supports the optimization of blood flow to the tissues. L-Citrulline functions in the body by being converted to L-Arginine and then into nitric oxide (NO). This nitric oxide is then going to be involved with vasodilation. This vasodilation is what helps increase the amount of blood and oxygen that is delivered to the working muscles, helping to prevent both mental and physical fatigue.
Malate serves as an important component in the tricarboxylic (or TCA) cycle, which is one way your body produces energy. When you increase malate levels, you increase energy production. Therefore, L-Citrulline Malate provides the one-two punch of bringing additional blood—and subsequently, oxygen and nutrients—to exercising muscles, as well as providing increased energy to boost performance levels.
Studies show subjects using L-Citrulline Malate have an increase in the rate of muscle ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate, the major energy source within the cell) production during exercise and greater phosphocreatine recovery after exercise.

FAQ
How is this product packaged?
This product is supplied in resealable 200g, 500g bags, so if you purchase 1KG, you might receive 2 bags of 500g.
What’s the difference between L-Citrulline and L-Citrulline Malate?
The difference between L-Citrulline and L-Citrulline Malate is basically the addition of malic acid. Malic acid has been shown to enhance aerobic and anaerobic energy production as it serves an essential role in the Krebs cycle (citric acid cycle or TCA cycle). Because L-Citrulline Malate has been shown to enhance aerobic and anaerobic energy production and carries with it the benefits of L-Citrulline (increasing nitric oxide), it is the perfect option for those looking to maximize recovery and muscle growth.
